Answer Center wins ATSI Award of Excellence

Answer Center of Virginia Beach, VA has been honored with the exclusive ATSI 2011 Award of Excellence for the seventh consecutive year. This award is presented annually by the Association of TeleServices International (ATSI), the industryâ™s trade association for providers of telecommunications and call centre services including telephone answering and message delivery across North America and the UK. Answer Center was presented with the award at ATSIâ™s 2011 Annual Convention held at the Grand Hyatt, San Antonio, TX.

There are over 2000 answering services in the USA and Canada and very few qualify to participate in this program. Only 130 services won this year. Operators are subject to receive random calls where they are tested for courtesy, accuracy and thoroughness in handling the calls. Our staff scored an overall 98.3 out of a possible 100. The lowest passing score is 80.
How did we win 6 years in a row? Simple. We carefully select only people who like people, we train them extensively and do random testing on a daily basis. We simply treat every call as though it were an ATSI test call. Your customers will notice the difference.

Paula Ford wins ATSI's Learning by Association Sharing Award

Learning By Association Sharing Award - this Award recognizes the many contributions members of our industry make to one another on a daily basis. Recipients are well known within our community for their generosity of spirit in sharing the insight and knowledge they have gained over their years in the industry.
The award was conceived by Larry Goldenberg of Direct Line Tele Response, Berkley, CA, as an offshoot of ATSIâ™s slogan which he helped introduce â“ Learning By Association, Sharing Ideas Is What We Are All About. ATSI members vote for those of their peers who have made significant contributions to the industry through their sharing of ideas, expertise and experiences via the ATSI email discussion list.
